 Dear sport Friends,
We, at Prague International Marathon (PIM), are pleased to inform you that with great joy and enthusiasm are opening the 14th season of the PIM Running Circuit 2008.
This year is a very prestigious one for us, where the International Association of Athletic Federations (IAAF) has awarded two of our races: the Hervis Prague Half Marathon and the Volkswagen Prague Marathon as a IAAF Road Race Silver Label 2008. It is a very significant award for us recognizing our races´ achievement and our common passion for running and active life style.
Not only, but we have prepared a lot of innovations for 2008. After the big success of the Corporate Half Marathon in 2007 we have decided to launch the Corporate Relay Marathon with 4- member teams, same as the Corporate Half Marathon. It will take place during the Marathon Weekend in May and will be followed by the Marathon Party in Prumyslový palace at Prague’s Fairgrounds (Incheba Expo Praha). We are happy to announce you that the Running Circuit 2008 starts on March 29 with the Hervis Prague Half Marathon that is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. We expect about 6,000 runners, from which 5,000 for the Hervis Prague Half Marathon and 1,000 for the Corporate Half Marathon. We have put together a team of elite athletes who have a chance to attack both the man and woman event record. Athletes and fans will be supported along the track by music band of various genders and after the race in the evening all the runners will be invited to a beer party in Staropramen Brewery with endless beer.
If you want to come and enjoy all this fun and unforgettable atmosphere of the Prague Half Marathon (March 29) or the Prague Marathon (May 11) either as active participants or as a viewers and supporters, we will be happy to assist you with accommodation, registration and so on.
